so, the surface area of a rectangular solid is SA=6%2AL%2AW
if the length L and width W of the solid are equal, we have
SA=6%2AL%2AL
SA=6%2AL%5E2
is SA=100cm%5E2, we have
100cm%5E2=6%2AL%5E2......solve for L
100cm%5E2%2F6=L%5E2
sqrt%28100cm%5E2%2F6%29=L


then the volume is:
V=L%5E3
V=%28sqrt%28100cm%5E2%2F6%29%29%5E3
V=68.04cm%5E3
