Question 775063: So my math teacher asked us to try and solve for x giving us the equation: A=2pirx+pir^2 sorry I don't know how to do the Pi symbol so I just wrote it in. I honestly have no clue how to go by solving this problem so if you could help and maybe write down or explain the steps of how to approach this problem I would greatly appreciate it. thanks :)

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Without the rendering tags, A=2*pi*r*x+pi*r^2.
With the rendering tags triple left braces and triple right braces, +A=2%2Api%2Ar%2Ax%2Bpi%2Ar%5E2

Make all terms containing x on one side and all other terms on the other side; divide or multiply as appropriate to isolate just x.

PROCESS:
Additive Inverse of pi%2Ar%5E2.
Multiplicative Inverse of 2%2Api%2Ar.
Simplify.
