Question 57500: what is the answer to x + 1?
Answer by mszlmb(115) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! X represents a number. It can be ANY number. Unless you tell me what number X stands for, I must inform you that x+1 could theoretically be ANYTHING. Why? Because x could be 1, and then the equation would be 1+1 which is two. Or x could be 5000, in which case the equation 5000+1= 5001. There are as many answers (infinitely many) as there are variables, or numbers which x could stand for (..also infinitely many).
The straightforward answer is there are infinitely many solutions. Please EMAIL or IM me with further questions.
