2x=4=3x
that means 2x=4, 2x=3x, .. wait.. 2x=3x?? that's impossible unless x was 0, but then neither would equal 4. ???
you must have meant either 2x+4=3x or 2x=4+3x.
2x+4=3x:
2x+4=3x minus 2x both sides
4=3x-2x simplify
4=x there ya go!
2x=4+3x:
2x=4+3x minus 3x both sides
2x-3x=4 simplify
-x=4 multiply both sides by -1
x=-4 there ya go.
Hope this helped.

I SPECKULATE THIS PROBLEM IS EITHER 2X+4=3X OR 2X=4+3X CAN'T HAVE TWO EQUAL SIGNS.
