We can eliminate denominators by ultiplying both sides of the equation times

Multiply both sides of the equation by the LCD which is xyz:



In order to solve for z, you need to get all the z terms on one side. You may want to subtract xz from each side:


Factor out the z in order to get the z in one place:


Divide both sides by (y-x):
