You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3%282-4%28y-1%29%29=3%282y%2B8%29
Divide by 3.
2-4%28y-1%29=2y%2B8
Distribute the (-4)
2%2B%28-4y%2B4%29=2y%2B8
-4y%2B6=2y%2B8
-6y=2
y=-2%2F6
highlight%28y=-1%2F3%29
Where did you go wrong?
