You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%282x%5E2y-6xy%5E2%2B12xy%29%2F%282xy%29 Start with the given expression.

%282x%5E2y%29%2F%282xy%29-%286xy%5E2%29%2F%282xy%29%2B%2812xy%29%2F%282xy%29 Break up the fraction.

%282x%2Ax%2Ay%29%2F%282xy%29-%286x%2Ay%2Ay%29%2F%282xy%29%2B%2812xy%29%2F%282xy%29 Expand. Remember, x%5E2=x%2Ax and y%5E2=y%2Ay

Factor 6 to get 2*3 and factor 12 to get 2*6. Notice how I'm factoring out 2's from each number.

x-3y%2B6 Simplify.

So %282x%5E2y-6xy%5E2%2B12xy%29%2F%282xy%29 simplifies to x-3y%2B6

In other words, %282x%5E2y-6xy%5E2%2B12xy%29%2F%282xy%29=x-3y%2B6 where x%3C%3E0 or y%3C%3E0
