I really need help on the following problem; I must have reworked it millions of times, but are not getting the right answer. Also, I am getting similar problems involving similar terms and grouping of terms wrong. Here is the problem, and here is how I did it. Thank you for you help.
[(3)^(-2) + 5*(2)^0]/[3-4(3)^(-1)]
[(3)^(-2)]/[(3-4*(3)^(-1)] + [5*(2)^0]/[3-4*(3)^0] =
1/[(3)^2] * [1(3)^1]/[3-4] + [5*1*3]/[3-4] = [3/(-9)] + 15 = -46/3

Question 432757: I am terrible at dividing exponents, and this one question is the only one like it in the entire guide, so I can't relate the question to another.
z (the number for z is 4 divided by 7) divided by 3x (number for x is 1 divided by 5) y (number for y is 11 divided by 3)
Thank you for taking the time to help me understand this question! (It's Grade nine math, if that will lower the amount of complexity of the question.)
