You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(-2z)^2 (3z^4)^2
-----
= (4z^2)(9z^8)
-----
= 36z^10

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
raising an exponent to a power means you multiply the exponents
%28-2%5E%281%2A2%29Z%5E%281%2A2%29%29
4z%5E2
3%5E%281%2A2%29z%5E%284%2A2%29
9z%5E8
.
%284z%5E2%29%289z%5E8%29 multiplying with exponents you add exponents
36z%5E%282%2B8%29=36z%5E10
