Question 360538: 8x exp. -4 times 2x exp. -3 times x exp. 7 = 16 ?
8 times 2 = 16
-4 + -3 = -7 exponent
so 16x exp. -7
then 16x exp. -7 times x exp. 7 = 16x exp. 0. (cause -7 +7=0)
so 16x exp. 0 = 16 (cause x to the 0 = 1)
Is that right?
You can put this solution on YOUR website! 8x exp. -4 times 2x exp. -3 times x exp. 7 = 16 ?
-----------------
8x^-4 * 2x^-3 * x^7 = 16
-----
16x^0 = 16
16 = 16
---
The equation is true for all Real Number values of
x except x = 0.
