You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3%281%2F3%29%5Ex-3=1%2F3
====
3(1/3)^x = 10/3
(1/3)^x = 10/9
x*log(1/3) = log(10/9)
x = log(10/9)/log(1/3)

As MathTherapy said, it's not our job to try to figure out what you meant.
Make it clear, or you might get the right answer to the wrong problem.

USe PARENTHESES!!! How many times do we have to BLURT this out before people who need help, start doing so?
I will not provide an answer but all I wish to say is that if the equation is: matrix%281%2C3%2C+3%281%2F3%29%5E%28x+-+3%29+%2C+%22=%22%2C+1%2F3%29, then the
answer will be totally different from the one the other tutor gave.
