Question 138978: This is an annoying problem, I did solve it, but I got it wrong.
It says some students simplify 2x^2-32/x-4 as 2x^2-32/x-4 where they crossed out 2x^2 and made it 2x and crossed out 32 and made it 8, crossed ut x-4=2x-8
It asks to choose values of x to show this is not true. Then simplify it correctly.
