Question 688858: I am working on a math page. It says: Lorenzo needed to find 1/9 of 27. His friend Carla told him to write 1/9 as 3 to the -2 and 27 as 3 to the 3 to get 3 to the negative 6. Was Carla correct? Explain.
I think she's correct, but I'm not quite sure on how to explain it.
