Question 205590: The question is: Classify the following polynomial by its degree and terms. x^2-5x+2. This is a multiple choice question. The choices are: quadratic binomial, cubic trinomial, quadratic trinomial, and linear binomial. So far what I have done is cancel out quadratic binomial and linear binomial because the equation has 3 terms(trinomial) and binomial stands for 2 terms. I don't know which one it is now , quadratic trinomial or cubic trinomial.

Rewrite the following using only positive exponents.
3^-1 +1/3^1 = 1/3
(2.5)^-2 = 2^-2/5^-2 = 1/2 ^2 over 1/5^-2 = 1/2^2 . 5^2/1 = 5^2/2^ = 25/4
8 /8^-2 = 8^1/8^-2 = 8^1 + 8^3 = 512
