SOLUTION: MPHc = .5(L)^.5 / (Hc)^.5 where L = 1000 and MPHc = 1.581
This is what I got so far
1.581 = .5(10,000)^.5 / (Hc^.5)
1.581 = 50/ (Hc^.5) not sure how to br

Question 708824: MPHc = .5(L)^.5 / (Hc)^.5 where L = 1000 and MPHc = 1.581
This is what I got so far
1.581 = .5(10,000)^.5 / (Hc^.5)
1.581 = 50/ (Hc^.5) not sure how to bring the ^.5 to the other side to solve for Hc
Should say you this:
1.581 = .5(1000)^.5 / (Hc^.5)
and for site formatting allowance, that is to mean:
The reciprocals should also be equal, so
multiply both sides by .5*1000^.5 , because raising to .5 power means square root
...and then square both sides because shown is still Hc^.5 and you wish to finish solving for Hc. from which you can finish the arithmetic computations.
