You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Check how you're inputing the problem. make sure that the entire exponent is used
It looks like you keyed it in as x^(-1)/5 * x^(-1)/4
which gives you +x%5E%28-1%29%2F5+%2A+x%5E%28-1%29%2F4+ and the wrong answer.

Key it in as: x^(-1/5) * x^(-1/4) which will give you the correct form

+x%5E%28-1%2F5%29+%2A+x%5E%28-1%2F4%29+ and bob's your uncle!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
%28x%5E%28-1%2F5%29%29%2A%28x%5E%28-1%2F4%29%29
Add the exponents
= x%5E%28-1%2F5+-1%2F4%29
= x%28-9%2F20%29
= 1%2F%28x%5E%289%2F20%29%29
