Question 1133538: 27 to the power of 1/3 X 7 to the power of -2
I need to know how to get to the answer and to get the answer as a fraction.
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If this is 27^(1/3)* 7^(-2), it is 3/7^2 or 3/49. do each term separately then multiply the two.
27^(1/3) is the cube root of 27 or 3
make exponents change sign by moving across a fraction so 7^(-2) is 1/7^(2)
this becomes 3 * (1/49) or 3/49.
