I have the vertical shift at down 2 and the horizontal shift at right one. The vertical asymptote is 1 and the point is (2,-2)

Here is my guess on how to do it you take the question and change it to +5%5E2+=5x which turns to 25=5x then divide by 5 which makes the answer 5. however I was unsure because I remember something in class about canceling out the log base 5. Thanks a bunch!
