It says, " find the equation for f^-1(x)"
f(x)= -3x i got f^-1(x)= -x/3
f(x)= x-7 i got f^-1(x)= x +7
f(x)= (-2/5)x + 10 i got f^-1(x)= -5/2x+ 25
f(x)= square root of 4x-3 i got f^-1(x)= square root of x/2 + 1.73
f(x) = x^2 + 1 i got f^-1(x)= square root of x -1
if you could help that would be great, thanks!

Question 676412: jus need help with finding solution. you may not see the parenthesis around both of the (x+3) in the equation dont know if it matters but my equation is< log(x+3)=log(x+3)+log x>. the parenthesis should be there at least thats the question im looking at on my worksheet its asking me to solve for x
