Question 423794: i dont understand why im getting 1/2 for my answer when i work the equation log2 16 out when the answer is 4 what i did was reworte the problme out which is log 2 16 log2 16=x 16=2x 4 2=(2)1 x 4 2=2 1x =2/1=x but when i do 2/1 *2/1 i get 4 what im doing wrong

Question 424522: A regular octagon has sides of "s". Find a formula for the distance between parallel sides of the octagon. Question 425275: Hello, I need help with an exponential growth model word problem :
The population of Houston Texas was 2.30 million in 1990, and 2.65 million in 2000. Using an exponential growth model, , sketch a graph of the population beginning in 1990 and find the predicted population in 2010
I checked my exponential growth notes but the formula was not the same it is: and we found the vertex from that (which is the "h" and "k"), then made our graphs. I checked online and there was a calculater for it and that gave me an answer of 76.16554 which I do not think has anything to do with this question. Thank you so much for your time.

I figured out the below answers and they are right, I cannot figure out this, the rabbit population approaches ________ as time goes on?
the research team brought 50 rabbits to the forest (t=0)
how many rabbits can be expected after 10weeks = 82 rabbits (t=10)
how many rabbits can be expected after the first year = 557 rabbits (t=52)
how many rabbits can be expected after 4 years = 2298 rabbits (t=208)
how many rabbits can be expected after 5 years = 2300 rabbits (t=260)
