Question 35345: write as a single logarithm with coefficient one: 3log4x (the four is little) + 1/2log4 (the four is little) square root x
I got log4 (little four) x to the 13/4 (13/4 is an exponent) - please help...not sure if I got this or not:)

The amount of radioactive material, in grams, present after t days is modeled by
A(t)=500e to the -0.05t (-0.05t is the exponent)
a)What is the initial amount of material?
b)How much material is left after 10 days?
c)Find the half-life of the material.

Question 35609: I am totally lost. We just started this section last friday and he gave us an example equation but im not following. the direcions for the foirst section say that log3 7= 1.7712 and the problem is log3 49 and i guess it would be for multiplying but otherwise i am totally clueless. i would very much appreciate help!.

Question 35695: Sam lives on a lot that the thought was a square, 157 feet by 157 feet. When he had it surveyed, he discovered that one side was actually 2 feet longer that he thought and the other side was actually 2 feet shorter that he thought. How much less area does he have than he thought he had?
