x = log7(1/49)

Think of a logarithm in terms of what it means in exponent form.
The "7" is the base, the "1/49" is the answer, and the logarithm is the exponent. In other words, you problem can be re-written as:
7%5Ex=1%2F49
When written in this form, you can easily see that
highlight%28x=-2%29
That is your answer.
