vice-versa:

These two equations are always equivalent:

   LOG EQUATION             EXPONENTIAL EQUATION

       logBA = C              BC = A 


Therefore the log equation

logx1331 = 3 

is equivalent to the exponential equation:

x3 = 1331

Take the cube root of both sides

x = root%283%2C1331%29

x = 11
