2*ln(3x) + 1 = 5
or
2*ln(3x+1) = 5
Assuming it's this one
Divide both sides by 2
ln(3x+1) = 5%2F2
ln(3x+1) = 2.5
find the anti-log,(e^x on your calc) of both sides
3x + 1 = 12.1825
3x = 12.1825 - 1
3x = 11.1825
x = 11.1825%2F3
x = 3.7275
