3^(3x-4)=9^x. Any help would be appreciated. Answer by rcmcc(152) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website!
to solve this equation wou must simplify the equation to a common base. you can use logarithmic terms but in this case simplifying to a common base is easier.
in this case 9 can be simplified to
cancel the base and you get simplified equation
3x-4=2x
add 4 to the other side
3x=2x+4
subtract 2x
x=4
In your equation x=4
Good Luck.
