Recall that log%28b%2C%28x%29%29=y can be rewritten as b%5Ey=x. In this case, this means that log%28x%2C%2832%29%29=5 can be rewritten as x%5E5=32. Also, take note that 32=2%5E5. So x%5E5=2%5E5 which means that x=2 (take the 5th root of both sides)
