Question 266137: I have a question about factoring. My problem is d(d-y)+4(d-y)and I'm supposed to factor it completely if possible. I've tried factoring it myself and got d^2-dy+4y-4d, but that isn't right. What am I doing wrong???

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You're not factoring it, you're expanding it.
d(d-y)+4(d-y)
= (d+4)*(d-y)
