Commutative property:
The property that lets us change the order in which actions or operation are done.
Associative property:
The property that says that numbers can be grouped in any way that is convenient for adding or multiplying.
Identity:
A special type of equation formed when the expression on the left side of the equal sign is equal to the expression on thr right side for all values of the variable.
Inverse:
A rule whereby one variable gets larger as the other variable gets smaller.
Distributive Properties of addition and multiplcation:
The property that says that multiplying a sum is the same as multiplying each term separately and then adding.
