Question 588608: A motorist, X, travelling at a uniform speed of 48 km/h passes a village at 6 a.m.. Another motorist, Y , travellingat a uniform speed of 66 km/h passes the same village at 6.30 a.m. Draw straight line graphs to show the journeys of X and Y between 6.30 a.m. and 9 a.m. , taking 4 cm to represent 1 hour on the time axis and 2 cm to represent 20 km on the the distance axis. Deduce from your graph the time at which both motrists are at the same distance from the village.

Question 590596: How do I find the polar coordinates of these rectangular points..(Sorry about the wording I'm so confused)?
1. (-√3,-1)
2. (-1,-√3)
I attempted two easier problems so if you could check them I'd appreciate it:)
1.(5,0)--> (5,π)
2.(0,-6)--> (π,6)

Question 607327: Long one, I'm sorry.. just having a bit of trouble with the regression line:
A farmer wants to find out the relationship between the amount of rain in march and the Crop yield in June. Statistics for a few years is shown in the following table:
March rainfall in inches (X): 3,7,2,6,5
Crop Yield in bushels per acre (Y): 5,12,4,10,6
Set the scatter diagram for the data. Does it appear to be positive linear correlation, negative linear correlation or no linear correlation?
Find the equation of the regression line (IMPORTANT)
Note: I did the scatter diagram, and it appears to be positive linear correlation, so that's not necessarily the issue.
I got Y=1.6x+0.02 for the regression line, and I don't know if that is correct.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
