To reflect (x,y) in the line y = -1,
----
1st: Plot the point (x,y)
----
2nd: draw a line segment from (x,y) perpendiuclar to y = -1
----
3rd: extend the line sement an equal distance to the
other side of the line y = -1.

Result::
Since the point (x,y) is a distance of y--1 = y+1
from the line y=-1, the reflected point will be at
-1-(y+1) =-y-2
----
Ans: So the imate of any point (x,y) is (x,-y-2)
