Interchange x and y and solve for y.
highlight%28x%29=2%2A%28highlight%28y%29%29%5E5-3
x%2B3=2y%5E5
y%5E5=%28x%2B3%29%2F2
y=root%285%2C%28x%2B3%29%2F2%29
This new y is the inverse function,
f%5E%28-1%29=root%285%2C%28x%2B3%29%2F2%29
