You can put this solution on YOUR website! Find the coordinates of the x-and y-intercepts
For any linear equation, you can set x=0 and find y, then y = 0 and find x. Those are the intercepts.
1. 3x+y=3
@x=0, y = 3 --> (0,3) the y-intercept, where x = 0
@y=0, x = 1 --> (1,0)
-------------
2. -2x-2y=4
@x=0, y = -2 --> (0,-2) the y-intercept
@y=0, x = -2 --> (-2,0)
----------
3. 2x+y=8
-
3
I don't know what that means.
-----------------
4. x=3
This is a line parallel to the y-axis. For all values of y, x = 3. The x-intercept is (3,0).
