Question 163747: Graph the equation:
x=0
Answer by joecbaseball(37) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I can help you, but I don't know how to use the graphing tool. Let's see if I can help you without graphing it.
If x = 0, then plot points on a coordinate system (the x,y) axis:
It does not matter what the y values are. You are just told that x = 0.
So, you will see that when x = 0, then the graph of this will be the y axis.
That is because for every point on the y axis, x = 0. I'll say it again, as long as x = 0, it does not matter what the value of y is.
So, y can be 0, y can be 7, y can be 94, y can be -33, or y can be 99999999.
It doesn't matter.
If you don't understand this explanation, write a response to me and I'll see if I can clarify it any better.
Good luck!
