You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Lets put the equation into slope intercept form y=mx%2Bb with m being the slope.
6x-2y=36
1. We must isolate the y variable. Minus 6x from both sides
6x-6x-2y=36-6x
Result -2y=-6x%2B36
2. Now divide both sides by -2
%28-2y%29%2F-2=%28-6x%29%2F-2%2B36%2F2
Result y=3x%2B18
Using the slope formula we know that the slope of the original equation is 3%2F1.
