You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1. First find four points in y = -4x + 2

(-3, 14), (?, ?), (5, 18), (10, -38)

2. Just reverse them:

(14, -3), (?, ?), (18, 5), (-38, 10)

[You'll have to find one of them all by yourself! lol ]

We are given that a relation
y+=+-4x+%2B+2
We have to find the four points contained in the inverse.
The given function is linear function, therefore:
Domain of function =R
Range of function=R
first find inverse of :
y+=+-4x+%2B+2
Now, replace x by y and y replace by x:
x+=+-4y+%2B+2........solve for y
4y+=+-x+%2B+2
y+=+-x%2F4+%2B+2%2F4
y+=+-x%2F4+%2B+1%2F2
Now, substitute y=f%5E-1%28x%29
f%5E-1%28x%29=+-x%2F4+%2B+1%2F2-> your inverse
It is linear function and defined for all real values.
Substitute x=0
f%5E-1%280%29=+-0%2F4+%2B+1%2F2=1%2F2
Substitute x=1
f%5E-1%281%29=+-1%2F4+%2B+1%2F2=1%2F4
Substitute x=-1
f%5E-1%28-1%29=+-%28-1%29%2F4+%2B+1%2F2=3%2F4
Substitute x=2
f%5E-1%282%29=+-2%2F4+%2B+1%2F2=0
so, your points are:
{ (0,1%2F2), (1,1%2F4), (-1,3%2F4), (2,0) }
