Question 1071104: So i'm working on this problem or whatever and it told me to find find the slope of the line graphed below. The coordinates were (-1,-1) and (4,2) i looked up someways and it told me m=rise/run and y2-y1/x2-x1 and i did that like so... -1-4 over -1-2 and it gave me -5 over -3 is this right or did i do someting wrong
Thanks ~Leila

You can put this solution on YOUR website! (-1,-1) and (4,2) i looked up someways and it told me m=rise/run and y2-y1/x2-x1 and i did that like so... -1-4 over -1-2 and it gave me -5 over -3
------------
That's almost correct.
It's (-1-2)/(-1-4) = -3/-5
slope = 3/5
