Question 610919: Break down the argument and analyze it decide wether the argument is valid or invalid?
"If we evolve a race of pure logicians, that would not be progress; but we have not evolved a race of pure logicians; so thats progress". Answer by solver91311(24713) (Show Source):
Invalid. Assumes the inverse. Note: "But we have progress therefore we have not evolved a race of pure logicians." is the contrapositive and therefore always valid.
