it would have to be 4 by 6 by 8.

the volume of a 2 by 3 by 4 box is 2 * 3 * 4 = 24 cubic feet.

the volume of a 4 by 6 by 8 box is 4 *6 * 8 = 192 cubic feet.

192 cubic feet / 24 cubic feet is equal to 8.

the 192 cubic foot box is 8 times as large as the 24 cubic foot box.

in a 3 dimensional figure, if the dimensions are doubled, then the volume is multiplied by 8.

normal dimensions are x * y * z.

doubled dimensions are 2x * 2y * 2z which is the same as 8 * x * y * z.
