Question 1133463: Hello!
I need to find the volume of a regular triangular pyramid that has base edges of length 30 and height 10.
I found the volume using the formula V = ((a^(3))/(6√2)), and got 3181.9805 units^3, but it appears to be wrong.
Thanks for helping!

You didn't seem to use the formula for the volume of a triangular pyramid, which is: matrix%281%2C3%2C+V%2C+%22=%22%2C+%281%2F3%29+%2A+B+%2A+h%29, with:
V being volume
B being the area of the BASE (a TRIANGULAR base, in this case)
h being the height, which was given
Also remember that this is a REGULAR TRIANGULAR pyramid which suggests that its base is a REGULAR (EQUILATERAL) triangle.
