You can put this solution on YOUR website!
What are the shapes at the two ends? Spheric?
What is the diameter or radius?

You can easily find and use two common formulas once you know the missing information.

Assuming spherical or HEMISPHERIC ends, the two ends together make a whole sphere cut in half. If the diameter is d, then radius is d/2.

The entire volume capacity would be %284%2F3%29pi%2A%28d%2F2%29%5E3%2B2pi%2A%28d%2F2%29%2813-2%28d%2F2%29%29; just simplify this and when you know what your diameter is supposed to be, you can then evaluate this expression.

----MY miss; you did say the radius is 3.
