part/whole=percent/100
we know the part and the percent, but not the whole. The 3 questions must have been 7% of the test 100%-93%=7%
3/x=7/100 or 3/x=7% or 3/x=.07 depending on how you want to write it.
multiply both sides by x and we get 3=.07x
divide both sides by .93 and we get 3/.07=x
So we'd get 42.9 which we can round off to 43.
