You can put this solution on YOUR website! What is the average (arithmetic mean) of 8, 7, 7, 5, 3, 2, and 2 ? The answer has to be in fractions, which i dont understand how to get.
 --------------------
 Add the numbers
 Then divide that sum by how many numbers you added.
 ----------------
 average = (8+7+7+5+3+2+2) = 32/7 = 4 + 4/7

You can put this solution on YOUR website! add up all the numbers and divide by how many numbers there are in this case 7. (8+7+7+5+3+2+2)/7=
 34/7=
 4 6/7
 I added up the numbers 34 and divided by 7 and got 34/7
 There are a couple ways to get the mixed number 4 6/7
 35/7=5 right? which is 4 7/7 right?
 so 34/7 is one less so it must be 4 6/7
 another way to look at it.
 ......4
 7 | 34
 ....-28
 .......6
 4 with 6 remainder means 4 6/7
 BTW as a decimal 4 6/7 is 4.85
