As correctly stated by tutor @ikleyn, the problem cannot be solved as stated, since we have no idea what the directions are for each given distance.
Note, however, that even if the given distances are all along the same straight line (i.e, in one dimension), the solution from the other tutor is only one of several possible answers, because there is no information about whether the distances are measured in the same or opposite directions.
