Question 175068: This problem is converting degrees, minutes, and seconds to degrees with decimal fractions. I understand how to convert them but I don't understand where this answer came from. The problem is 125 degrees, 20 minutes, 30 seconds. The first part of the answer is 125 and 20.5 over 60 degrees, the second part of the answer is 125 and 41 over 120 degrees. Why was the fraction doubled? Thanks!
