Question 895036: The supplement of an angle y measures 10x+4 and the complement of the angle measures 4x. What is the measure of angle y? The answer is 32.7 degrees. I don't know how they came to that answer.
-I tried taking the 10x+4-y=180. But after subtracting and getting like numbers on their respective sides I end up with x-y=17.6. This is where I'm stuck. The back of the book states that the answer is supposed to be 32.7 degrees. ??? Help Please!!!
