Question 991255: two angles form a straight angle. The measure of one angle is five times greater than the measure of the other angle. Find the measure of each angle Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Hi there,
Is your 'straight angle' a straight line
= 180 degrees?
If so:-
One angle = x
the other will equal 5x
So, x + 5x = 180
6x = 180
x = 30.
One angle = 30 degrees
the other = 150 degrees.
Hope this helps :-)
