You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x+24>90; 3x>76; x>76/3 degrees (minimum)
3x+24<180; 3x<156; x<52 degrees (maximum)
(76/3) is less than x which is less than 52 degrees

if (3x+24) represents the measure of
an obtuse angle what are the possible values of x?
-----
90< 3x+24 < 180
-----
Subtract 24 along the line to get:
66 < 3x < 156
-----
22 < x < 52
