Question 642998: In a diagram, ray BD bisects angle ABC. Find m for angle ABC. Angle ABD is represented by (x/2 + 17)° and angle DBC is represented by (x - 33)°
I believe the correct answer is 134° but I don't know how to show the work. Can you help please?
Thank you!

You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The diagram can't be viewed because you didn't send it. Anyway, it's pretty clear the way you described it. Since BD bisects angle ABC, then angle ABD = angle DBC.
x + 34 = 2x - 66 ------ Multiplying the eq by LCD, 2
x - 2x = - 66 - 34
- x = - 100
x = , or 100°
Each angle = x - 33, or 100 - 33, or , so both angles, or angle ABC = 2(67), or
