You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Complementary angles are two angles whose sum is 90°.
if one is x and another y, then
x+%2B+y+=+90.........1
if the difference in the measures of the two angles is 12
x+-+y+=+12.......2

x+%2B+y+=+90.........1

x+-+y+=+12.......2
---------------------------...solve this system

x+%2B+y+=+90.........1
x++=+90-y.........1.plug in 2 and find y

%2890-y%29+-+y+=+12.......2
90+-y+-+y+=+12.......2
90+-+2y+=+12.......2
90+-+12+=2y.......2
78+=2y.......2
78%2F2+=+y.......2
39+=+y.......2........now find x

x++=+90-y
x++=+90-39
x++=+51..........
so, angles are: 51 and 39 degree
check their difference
51-39=12
12=12
