You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Complementary angles add to 90 deg
let DISABLED_event_one= x
the other =3x (can use x and (1/3) x but introduces fractions)
x+3x=4x=90 deg
x=22.5 deg
3x=67.5 deg

Hey,

in English,  the phrase  "One of them is 3 times less than the other"  DOES  NOT  WORK.   This form is  PROHIBITED.

The correct way to express their inter-relation is  THIS :

    One of them is one third of the other.

Find the measurement of both complementary angles
One of them is 3 times less than the other
With the smaller being 3 TIMES less than the larger, it the same as saying that the larger is 3 TIMES larger than the smaller.
So, with the smaller being S, the larger is 4S as 3 TIMES larger is the same as 4 TIMES as large.
This gives you the following equation: S + 4S = 90. Solve this to get
